Superdrug Are Curelty Free.

So recently I discovered that Superdrugs own brand products are 100% cruelty free, they are completely against the exploitation of animals and that makes me one happy bunny!

So, I decided I’m going to do a little review on the products I picked up!

I grabbed some makeup removal wipes, face wash, face moisturiser, and shampoo. All these products are vegan friendly too, I don’t actually know if all of Superdrugs products are vegan but if not most of them are. All these products cost me less than £8, so that’s really good value for money, I know it can be difficult to find vegan friendly cosmetics for those on a budget so this is a really great option to have!

Cleansing Facial Wipes, for normal skin.
I have pretty weird skin, it can be dry one day, flawless the next, then completely oily and broken out at other times. So I decided to stick with the normal skin wipes. They smell so fresh and lovely, they are really soft and fluffy, and they have the right ammount of moisture in them to take your makeup off. They remove waterproof makeup too, I find some wipes can leave my eyes really stingy but these are gentle enough to use around my eyes.

Tea Tree & Pink Grapefruit Facial Wash.
Oh. My. God. This stuff smells amazing! It’s pink and it looks pretty sitting in the bathroom. It’s a pretty big tube and it lathers when you use it so I think it’ll last forever. Also because it lathers up it’s pretty good at taking off makeup, just avoid getting it close to your eyes because the tea tree will sting like a bitch! It leaves my skin feeling so clean, soft, smooth, and fresh. If it’s been really hot during the night it’s really nice to use in the morning to get rid of the sticky sweaty oily feeling on your face, the smell kinda makes you feel more awake aswell.

Simply Pure Light Moisturiser.
The simply pure range is good if you have sensitive or easily irritated skin, it’s fragrance free, hypoallergenic, and made with Soothex (I have no idea what that means, but it sounds fancy.)
I chose the light moisturiser because I use this before I apply my makeup and my skin can get greasy from time to time so I don’t want my makeup just sliding off during the day. It’s really fast absorbing and it leaves my skin feeling soft. I actually had a little dry flaky patch of skin on my eyelid and after using this moisturiser just twice it’s completely cleared up. I do have some eczema on my arms and legs so I plan to try the body cream from this line (if they have such a thing.)

Pear Drops Shampoo
Pear Drops is a limited edition fragrance and oh my it smells so good! I might just go and buy a few to stock up, if that fails I plan to try the coconut one because it makes me think of an island paradise. I don’t really know what I can say about shampoos because I don’t ever notice a differnce if I’m being honest. It foams up nicely, and you don’t need to use a great amount of it. It does come in a decent size bottle so I’d imagine it’ll last me a good month or so. Really it just depends on how often you wash your hair, but yeah it smells super rad. Oh also the label on the bottle has little candy designs on it and that’s pretty cute.

Anyway, I didn’t really have anything bad to say about any of these products, but I found them difficult to find in store because they are mixed around with everything else, it would be nice if they had a section for just their own branded stuff just to make it easier to find, my local Superdrug isn’t huge so it wasn’t much of a struggle. So, I hope someone found this helpful/interesting.  Okay, ciao.

Love and peace.
