Vegan Beauty | First Impressions | Tarte Mascara

So if you have seen my post you’ll have noticed I needed a new mascara so i thought i’d try Tarte Make Them Stare Amazonian Clay Smart Mascara. I got the trio for £27.00 on QVC, I think for one it’s about £21, so this was a sweet deal, I gave one to my mum so I’ll include her verdict in this post too.

Anyway, I also ordered the Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Foundation, but it was wait list only on QVC so I’ll need to wait for what will seem like an eternity for it to be delivered.

Tarte is a cruelty free cosmetics brand and both of these items are from their vegan range, so that obviously gets them some bonus points!

So firstly, isn’t the packaging so unique and super cute?! It’s so simple, and pretty!
So on the product itself, I really like the formula of this mascara, I only needed one coat and it covered my lashes fantastically with zero clumping, it made my lashes look so much longer, it was really easy to apply to my lower lashes too, usually I end up with mascara printed under my eye and product overload on my lashes, but this mascara worked really nicely and lengthened them without any clumping.

I never really have an issue with the wear time of mascara, most mascaras tend to last most of the day for me, but this one has absolutely no smudging or crumbling. The only negative thing I’d have to say is it doesn’t quite give me the same volume as Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara does, but overall for a first impression I’d give it a solid 9/10, I’d definitely repurchase this. 😍

Mama bear was pretty impressed too, she’s one of those multi mascara ladies and she only needed to apply one coat of this one and she seemed pretty stoked. Yay!

Sadly Tarte don’t offer international shipping yet (fingers crossed they will soon!) but you can purchase a lot of their range from QVC UK.

Love & Peace,
