Makeup Revolution is a 100% cruelty free beauty brand, they do not sell in China and they are not owned by a parent company.
Currently they do not have a vegan list (They plan to bring one out this year.) but you can check the ingredients yourself, watch out for beeswax and carmine.
So let’s look at what I’ve got.
Single Eyeshadows in…
…Blow your whistle
…U know u want to
These individual eyeshadows were only 50 pence each, I really like them, they are all pretty pigmented except for Acid! I was pretty disappointed with the colour. They are blendable and for the price I can’t really complain at all. My favorite shade is the pink one, I don’t have a shade like that so it’s nice to find something different.
Eye Dust in Moody
This is so messy, while I was swatching this the little shaker lid on the inside fell out and powder ended up fucking everywhere! Oh my God!
To be honest I shouldn’t be allowed loose powder because I’m so messy and accident prone it just gets everywhere!
Anyway, I really like the silver/grey colour of this, I just need to be careful to shake it off my brushes properly or use a tissue because it can give alot of fall out.
The One Foundation Shade 3
The formula of this foundation is pretty watery, but I actually think it has been discontinued and replaced by their BB foundation which has been recommend to me by a friend. I just mix this one with my Nars foundation because it’s too dark and this one is too light so it works out, but my Nars foundation is almost finished so I’ll just use this one as a corrector for brows, lips, and eyeliner.
Amazing Shiner Lipgloss Tube in Move a little Closer
I’m not really a lip gloss girl, but I loved this shade! I did try it on top of Prom Night by Jeffree Star Cosmetics, bad move, bad bad move, it was just a disaster, lipstick EVERYWHERE! DO NOT use lip gloss on top of matte Liquid Lipstick. Anyway, I do not know when I will use this again as I just personally prefere lipstick to lip gloss.
Salvation Velvet Lip Lacquer in Depravity (Left.), and Keep Crying For You (Right.)
Ultra Velour Lip Cream in Not one for playing game (Middle.)
Even though Depravity and Keep Crying Over You are the same lip Lacquer they seem or be very different formulas, both of the purple shades are just very poorly pigmented so that was disappointing, the pink is actually really bright, very pigmented, (Check it out here.) And the wear time is great, really it’s like a Jeffree Star Cosmetics dupe.
Liquid Concealer in Medium
I really like the coverage of this consealer, it does dry pretty quick so I blend it in as I go so I don’t end up with big unblended lumps of consealer on my face.
Sadly this consealer contains beeswax, so I’ll know not to buy that again in the future. My bad for not checking properly but there is no point in being wasteful in throwing it out.
Ultra Contour Palette
My very first contour palette! These powders blend really well, they have a nice pigment, they are soft and they don’t make my skin look all dried out. This contour palette was only £8.00, that’s such a steal.
Ultra Eyeshadows Eyes Like Angels Palette
I absolutely love this palette, all the eyeshadows are super shimmery and metallic, I can’t wait to try them out with a wet brush, they blend super amazingly, and they are so soft and silky! This palettes only cost £8.00, it’s such incredible value!
Love & Peace,
