So this is kind of an accidental haul as I only actually bought 3 things… but if you spent £10.00 you got £20.00 worth of free products in a “mystery gift”. Sweet deal, right?
Lets be real, the mystery gifts are usually a load of shitty products no one wanted so the company are just giving them away, but I was so surprised with all the rad things I got!
So lets start with the things I actually bought!
All these products are from e.l.f. (Duh.) and if you don’t know already e.l.f. are an incredibly affordable all vegan, cruelty free, drug store brand.
Okay, for £7.50 this foundation is bomb af! It’s a lightweight, medium coverage foundation. its oil free, and has a semi-matte finish, so it still has a slight dewy look without making you look like a grease ball. For real I’m so surprised at the quality of this foundation, it seems to work so perfectly with my skin. This is most definitely Soya Bean Beauty approved!
This consealer was £4.50, it’s now £2.00! How can these products be so cheap, the quality is just incredible for this price, I can’t even! It’s a full coverage consealer that is infused with vitamin C, green tea, and mulberry for lifting and soothing benefits. Yeah… I liked this one, it covered the dark circles under my eyes, it doesn’t feel heavy, and it sat well on my skin. So, this is a winner for me too.
e.l.f. Essential Blending Eye Brush
This brush was only £2.00, again for the price it is just a steal! it blends my eyeshadow perfectly, what else can I say. It does its job, and it does it well.
So, that’s it for the products I purchased, but here are the products I got in my mystery gift…
This brush is £4.50. To be honest I don’t really know what i will use this brush for because I prefer an angled precision brush… but y’know it was free, I’ll figure out a use for it.
I WAS SO HAPPY THIS WAS IN MY MYSTERY GIFT!! I so almost bought this last week, but I didn’t really know what I would use it for but I just knew I wanted it (Like this big ass brush isn’t going to fit in any of my powder pots.) Dreams do come true after all! This brush is £12.50, its one of the more “expensive” items from e.l.f. and still pretty affordable.
It’s a compact mirror, I didn’t own a compact mirror so this went straight into my handbag. This was £2.00 its now only £1.00.
This little eyeshadow palette comes with a double ended sponge thingy (That sponge applicator isn’t ever getting used.) and under the sponge thingy is a little tiny mirror which I think is pretty cute. The colours are pretty pigmented and they blend out super nice. This palette was £3.00 it’s now only £1.50 and you can choose from 10 different shades, for only £1.50 this is just amazing value for money. This eyeshadow got my seal of approval for sure.
Again like above, this little blush compact comes with an applicator brush and underneath is a little mirror. I love that it’s a peachy shade, I don’t have a peach blush so I’m stoked this was in my mystery gift. This blush isn’t hugely pigmented but its subtle and blendable. It’s £3.00, there are 4 shades to choose from and a couple of the shades are down to £1.50 in the sale.
Last but not least…
To be honest I’m not a huge fan of lip gloss, I live in a country where it is windy 100% of the time and I just can’t deal with my hair sticking to it, But I am wearing this lip gloss today, it’s a novelty that will probably wear off but its a nice subtle colour, it’s a little bit of a gritty texture, but it was free (£3.00.) so i can’t really complain.
I’m so happy with my mini haul, and mystery gift.
Let me know in the comments did you guys get a mystery gift? what was your favorite and least favorite product?
So it was supposed to be £20.00 of free products but I ended up with £25.50 worth of products so that’s hella rad. You go Glen Coco.
Love & peace, SBB. Xo
