Vegan Beauty | Review | Gerard Cosmetics Slay All Day Setting Spray

Just a disclaimer before I start, Gerard Cosmetics will not label this product (Slay All Day Setting Spray.) as vegan, its ingredients are all vegan no animal products or byproducts are used in this product, but it runs the risk of being contaminated by animal ingredient*, so it’s up to the individual if they want to purchase or not. Personally I don’t mind about contamination/traces because it’s impossible to avoid it, in a perfect vegan world contamination wouldn’t be an issue since animal ingredients would not be used, but it is up to yourself personally. so anyway on with the review…

Gerard Cosmetics is a California-based cruelty free cosmetics brand.

I have been looking for a decent setting spray for a while now, one that would actually keep my makeup in place all day. So I thought I would try Gerard Cosmetics Slay All Day Setting Spray.

The Slay All Day Setting Spray comes in 5 scents, Peach, Jasmine, Lavender, Lemongrass, and Green Tea. I don’t know if they are for different skin types or if they are just different scents. (It doesn’t say anything about it on

I got the Green Tea one to try, first impressions is that it does smell amazing, so I can’t wait to try the other ones out to see if they smell as good as this one. I also really like the packing and the name of the product it just gives it a badass vibe.

I do my makeup as normal then I go wild and spray this all over my face, I don’t know if it’s the spray or my mascara (Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara.) but I would recommend putting your mascara on last it always transfers a little with this spray.

I do find that this spray sets super fast and while it’s setting it makes my skin kinda tingle (It contains menthol, so that’ll be why.) and it fells super refreshing. It also feels like it’s tightening my skin, like giving it a lift.I really like it.

I’ve been using this spray for about 3 months now, every time I do my makeup I use this spray and it’s barely made a dent in the bottle and I am generous with this product. It truly does keep my makeup in place and I feel like I could Slay All Day. I really would recommend this product, maybe if you have sensitive skin I would avoid the Green Tea one as the menthol might be irritating.
