Lets get into the review, I first heard of Arctic Fox Hair Color last year, my best friend in the entire world who always has insanely amazing colourful hair introduced me to it. Arctic Fox just seemed to stick in her hair forever, the colour was so vibrant, it lasted ages and when it did eventually fade it was always faded to a beautiful pastel shade.
So anyway, I had my hair copper for 3 YEARS! That may as well be an eternity, I loved that hair colour don’t get me wrong but I just needed a change. What colour have I never had in my hair before? Green. If you are a regular to my blog you will know it had been green for 6 weeks now, but I wanted to give Arctic Fox a good try before I did my brand review.
Here is a picture from week 1:
This was a day after I coloured my hair. I used 2 parts Phantom Green mixed with 1 part Aquamarine.
I’m in love, I love it! Clearly I had to bleach my hair first (Always go to a trained professional, I do not bleach my own hair and I do not recommend that anyone does.) So it was patchy, and orange and gross AF (It was copper before after all.). I put the colour on and left it for an hour, Arctic Fox is full of conditioners and no harmful or drying ingredients so no matter how long you leave the colour on it will not damage your hair! The green covered my hair so well, not patchy at all, I was worried that it would be but it just covered it so beautifully.
The only down side was my scalp was stained until after the first few washed and I needed to put my hair into a top knot each night or I would wake up green, but that isn’t even that much of a con.
Now onto week 6, this is today. If you wish to peek at it from all the weeks in-between I recommend that you check out My Week In Makeup series.
No touch ups, nothing! (I do only wash my hair once or twice a week as I have very dry hair. If you wash your hair every day, which I don’t recommend doing, it will not last this long.) 6 weeks and this has hardly faded, are you kidding me?! This hair dye is the most incredible hair colour i have used! Crazy colors like this just do not ever stick to my hair, I am lazy and hate hate hate the up keep of having brightly coloured hair, but Arctic Fox has just taken away the hassle. I still can’t believe how good it looks.
There is literally no more that I can say about Arctic Fox, they are an incredible brand who are kind to animals and their product in my eyes is flawless.
I absolutely could not recommend them enough.
If you use Arctic Fox Hair Color please share your pictures in the comments, I would love to see your beautiful hair!
