The Balm Cosmetics is a cruelty free brand from San Francisco, California. Offering paraben and cruelty free products worldwide.
The Balm Cosmetics do not purchase any ingredients that have been tested on animals, they do not conduct third party animal testing, and they do not sell their products within mainland China.
Here is their cruelty free statement…
“We do not test our products on animals, suppliers of raw materials used in our products certified that they have not been tested on animals since December 31, 1990 and our products have not been tested on animals. Our line of cosmetics is not considered a vegan line as some of our ingredients may have animal byproducts (such as bees wax or carmine) but do not contain any ruminant extracts or derivatives.
Distributors of theBalm Cosmetics from all over the world do not test our products on animals.”
The Balm Cosmetics used to have a vegan section on their website but it is currently not there, I emailed The Balm and they replied with this…
“Thank you for your interest in theBalm! Our line of cosmetics is not considered vegan, as some of our products contain ingredients like beeswax and carmine, but do not contain any ruminant extracts or derivatives. We’re currently working to compile a complete list of vegan products. In the meantime, all product ingredients can be viewed at theBalm.com by searching a product and clicking “view ingredients.”.”
So, yeah, I guess maybe they will let you know about individual products if you try to email them. I’m not sure, but I will update you guys again as soon as I can with an actual vegan products list.
The Balm Cosmetics offer a pro discount and also wholesale orders, they also ship internationally.
Love & peace, SBB. Xo
